A basketball manager game that runs on your phone — no download

You do not need an app, an account, or 400 MB of storage to run a basketball franchise. Open a browser tab and you are the general manager: trades, the salary cap, the draft, free agency, and games you can coach possession by possession. It saves on your device and it is free.

Why a browser beats an app for this genre

Management sims are read-and-decide games. You look at a roster, you think, you tap a decision, the league moves. That loop does not need native code, which means it does not need an install, a permission prompt, or an update every fortnight. What it does need is to be one tap away when you have four minutes in a queue — and a browser tab is always one tap away.

Add it to your home screen

iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen. Android: menu → Add to Home screen / Install. It then launches full-screen, works offline, and keeps your career.

Built for a thumb, not a mouse

Most management sims are desktop spreadsheets that were later squeezed onto a phone. This one was measured on real phones and rebuilt around them: a bottom navigation bar within thumb reach, full-size controls under the live court instead of beside it, tables that scroll sideways while the name column stays put, and a text floor so nothing shrinks below readable.

The live game is the part that usually breaks on a phone. Here the court is a tactical board rather than a video feed, so it stays legible at 375 px wide, and the play calls sit under it as buttons big enough to hit while walking.

What you actually do

Does it really save?

Yes. The career lives in your browser's storage on the device you played it on, and it is there when you come back — no account involved. Clearing your browsing data deletes it, which is the one real limit of the no-account approach; that is exactly what the optional free account fixes, by backing the career up so it can move between your phone and a laptop.
